COLOTECT: Early Colorectal Cancer Detection
COLOTECT 1.0 is a non-invasive, highly sensitive screening test for colorectal cancer (CRC) and precancerous lesions. Human DNA is extracted from self-collected at home stool samples and used for the multiplex methylation specific PCR to detect abnormal CRC gene markers (SDC2, ADHFE1, PPP2R5C).
COLOTECT offers high accuracy with 92% specificity and 88% and 46% sensitivity for detecting colorectal cancer and adenoma, respectively.
